Initiatives
In addition to System planning work through the Tiers of Service, Child Health BC and our collaborators are undertaking many initiatives that are associated with building stronger services and service planning.
These initiatives are created based on child health need, readiness to move forward and opportunities for sustainability. The best data and evidence is brought to the forefront when undertaking this work.
Collaboration is key in undertaking these initiatives. Working with our collaborators such as the health authorities partners (including the First Nations Health Authority), the ministries, the BC Pediatric Society, family doctors, subspecialists, the BC Prinicpals and Vice Principals and youth and families themselves, is essential if these initiatives are to be meaningful and successful!
